The first case of swine flu in Leeds has been confirmed by health officials.
NHS Yorkshire and Humber said in a statement on its website: "An individual from Leeds has been tested and found to have the virus.
"The individual is being treated with anti-viral drugs and is responding to treatment."
It is the second confirmed case in West Yorkshire after a man from Calderdale tested positive shortly after returning from a trip to the US.
It brings to five the number of swine flu cases in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The other three people with the virus are all from North Yorkshire - two in the Hambleton area of the county and one in Richmondshire.
The total number of confirmed cases in the UK stood at 541 on Saturday, according to the latest Health Protection Agency figures.
